Learn how to import a workspace within an Adobe Premiere Pro project.

By default, Premiere Pro opens projects in whatever workspace you currently have open. However, you can also open a project in the workspace last used with it. This option is especially handy if you often rearrange the workspace for each project.

  1. Launch Premiere Pro.
  2. Select Window > Workspaces > Import Workspace from Projects.
  3. Open the project you want to work on.
Note:

If you import a project and the workspace is empty, close the project, deselect Import Workspace from Projects, import the project again, and then select an existing workspace for the project.

You can view the imported workspaces in the Workspaces panel.
