The Essential Sound panel helps you create artificial reverb effects, such as the impression that music is originating from a particular position in the stereo field or recreating the ambiance of a room or field with appropriate reflections and reverberation.

Before you begin

Select an audio clip in the timeline, select Window > Essential Sound. Make sure you have automatically tagged the audio type as an SFX clip.

  1. In the Creative section of the Essential Sound panel, select Reverb.

  2. Control the intensity and characteristics of the Reverb Preset by moving the Amount, Pan, and Clip Volume sliders.
