Make your image tile
Bitmap2Material allows you to make any picture tiling.
As you can see below, this rock picture is for example not tiling seamlessly.
Thanks to B2M tiling method, we can make it tile automatically.
To make a picture tile, you should use the parameter called Make It Tile in the Global Parameters.
You can chose between 5 methods for tiling:
- Edges Quincunx
- Edges Linear
- Edges Linear X
- Edges Linear Y
- Random
Edges Quincunx Method
Warp the mask to adapt it to the image informations.
You can control the following parameter:
Tiling Transition Precision: sets how sharp the transition should be between the new tiling picture and the original picture.
Edges Linear Method
Linear mask, more adapted for images that contains patterns.
You can control the following parameter:
Tiling Transition Precision: sets how sharp the transition should be between the new tiling picture and the original picture.
Edges Linear X Method
Linear mask, more adapted for images that contains patterns. Tiling apply on X axis only.
You can control the following parameter:
Tiling Transition Precision: sets how sharp the transition should be between the new tiling picture and the original picture.
Edges Linear Y Method
Linear mask, more adapted for images that contains patterns. Tiling apply on Y axis only.
You can control the following parameter:
Tiling Transition Precision: sets how sharp the transition should be between the new tiling picture and the original picture.
Random
A part of the image is "splatted" at different positions. The splatter is randomizable.
You can control the following parameter:
Tiling Transition Precision: sets how sharp the transition should be between the new tiling picture and the original picture.
Tiling Random Angle Variation: randomizes the angle of each splat.
