Add or remove content from your images with text prompts using Generative Fill in Photoshop on the iPad.

Try out the latest features and enhancements in the Photoshop app on the iPad for general availability.
Add or remove content, replace the background of images, and remove distractions with Generative Fill .
Use simple text prompts to add or remove content from your images non-destructively, and view the new content created in a Generative Layer.
Get started with Generative Fill
Select Selection tools > Lasso to select an area in the image.
To know more about Lasso in Selection tools, explore how it’s used in Make selections and add masks.
Select Generative Fill in the Contextual Task Bar that appears.
Select Agree to agree to the user guidelines in the legal dialog box that appears.
Enter a text prompt to describe the content you want generated in your image. Use the text entry prompt box in the Contextual Task Bar that appears.
Select Generate and then select from the generated variations in the Properties panel.
Note
Generative Fill deducts one standard generative credit per generation.
Select the Generative Layer to open the Properties panel. This will allow you to make more edits to the text prompt or adjustments to the variations.
Make adjustments to the text prompt and select Generate in the Properties panel to generate more variations.
