Get started

In the Photoshop workspace, select the AI Assistant   icon. 

Select the AI Assistant icon in the top-right corner of the window to open the panel.
Select the AI Assistant icon to open the panel.

To start a conversation, select a suggested prompt or enter your own prompt. 

Tip
  • Ask a question, request image feedback, or describe an editing task.
  • To continue the conversation, ask follow-up questions, provide additional instructions, or apply the suggestions.

Review and apply the suggested edits, or continue the conversation with follow-up instructions. 

Enter natural language prompts to edit images, remove objects, or explore variations using the AI Assistant panel in Photoshop (Beta) on desktop.
Use simple text prompts for editing images, removing objects, and exploring variations.

Suggested prompts

Use natural language prompts in the AI Assistant chatbox describing the change you want to make, for example, “remove the background”, “make the sky more dramatic”, or "remove the wires".
