Error 145 causes installation failure

Learn how to resolve error code 145 "There was a problem installing Adobe apps" during Adobe app installation.

Error 145 occurs when the installer detects a file or folder with the same name already exists at the installation location. This naming conflict prevents the installation from continuing.

A conflicting file or folder already exists in the install path.

Select the Installation failed link in the error message.

In the error dialog box, select view error log.

In the error log window, look for the exact path of the file.

Navigate to the file or folder using File Explorer on Windows and Finder on macOS. 

Rename or remove the file or folder, and install the app again.
