The Event Analytics Dashboard is a powerful tool designed to empower marketers in tracking webinar performance and identifying high-intent prospects for precise targeting, ultimately enhancing conversion rates. This dashboard provides a comprehensive tracking of participant interactions, offering detailed reports on individual participants and session performance. Additionally, it delivers analytics-driven feedback on content and layouts that have yielded higher engagement, enabling you to refine and enhance the value of your future webinars.

Access events analytics dashboard

Use the following steps to view the event analytics dashboard.

  1. Login to Adobe Connect Central.

  2. Select the Events tab from the top menu bar.

  3. Select the User Events tab from the menu bar.

  4. From the Event list, select the event for which you want to view the dashboard.

  5. Select the Reports tab from the menu bar.

  6. Select Go to dashboard under Event Analytics.

Note:

The event analytics dashboard is accessible 45 to 120 minutes after the scheduled event ends.

The dashboard consists of the following:

  • Event summary: Provides a summary of the event's live and on-demand performance.
  • Engagement: Provides an overview of the live webinar's performance.
  • Interactions: Provides a detailed view of participants engagement across pods.
  • On-demand: Provides a detailed view of engagement in the on-demand session.
  • Attendee activity: Provides consolidated view about engagement.
  • Download reports: Download reports for engagement in different pods.

Event summary

The summary includes the overall performance of both live and on-demand events and the recording of the event. The summary outlines the number of registrations, attendees, duration of the event, number of views of the recording, and much more.

From the left panel, select Event summary to view live and on-demand event summary. Select Event summary (PDF) to download the summary. The overview is classified into different sections.

View the number of registrations, attendees, conversion rate, average duration, recording of the event, total views of recording, average watch duration, and much more for both live and on-demand events.

  • Registrations: The number of registrations for the live and in-demand session.
  • Attendees: The number of attendees who attended the session.
  • Registration to attendee conversion rate: The percentage of individuals who register for and attend the event.
  • Average duration attended: The average duration participants participated in the session.
  • Attended live and on-demand: Number of participants who participated in both live and on-demand sessions. Select the Download list to view those participants' names, as they will likely be top prospects.

View the total views, number of participants who viewed the recording, and average watch duration of the recording. Select Download to download the recording and Download recording report to view the recording report.

  • Total views: The total number of views of the recording.
  • Attended live and watched recording: View the numbers of participants who attended both live and on-demand webinar. Select the Download list to view the list of participants.
  • Average watch duration: The average duration for which the recording is viewed.

Engagement

The Engagement tab provides an overview of the live webinar's performance. It includes key metrics, engagement over time, and participant interactions. This overview helps organizers evaluate the event's success and identify areas for improvement. 

From the left panel, select Engagement to view the live session’s performance. Select Engagement summary (PDF) to download the performance summary of the live session. The overview is classified into different sections.

View the number of registrations, attendees, and engagement in the live session. The Key metrics panel allows you to view the following:

  • Registrations: The number of registrations for the live session.  
  • Attendees: The number of participants in the live session.  
  • Highly engaged: The number of highly engaged participants during the live session, likely to be top prospects.  
  • Moderately engaged: The number of moderately engaged participants during the live session.  
  • Average watch duration in minutes: The average time viewers spend in the live session, measured in minutes. 
Note:

Adobe Connect calculates the metrics based on engagement and interactions during the session. 

The engagement over time section displays a time series analysis of the participant engagement levels and attendance during the live webinar. The engagement levels can be attributed to the content and layout being presented in the webinar. This can be used to identify content that has yielded higher engagement, enabling hosts to refine and enhance the value of their future webinars.

Select View instant in recording to view the recording from that time into the live webinar. This can be used to analyze the activities inside the room which led to changes in engagement or attendance.

Hovering at any point on the graph displays the following:

  • The time into the live webinar.
  • Average engagement score at that moment.
  • Number of attendees present at that time.
  • Name of the layout being presented at that time.
  • Select View instant in recording to view the instant in the recording where engagement was high or low.

This interface outlines the attendees’ interactions on different pods. The panel provides information for Answered polls, Asked questions, Interact with chat, Clicked at least one link, and Downloaded at least one file

Select Go to interactions to view responses from polls, metrics of Q&A, and attendees’ reactions during the session. From Interactions, you can view how attendees are engaged across pods and download interaction reports from the section below.

Interactions

This interface shows how attendees interact and engage in the session from Interactions. It tracks responses to polls, Q&A metrics, reactions from attendees, and dropped links and files from respective pods. Hosts can also download interaction reports of these pods. The Interactions tab provides a detailed analysis of participant's interaction with various engagement elements used in the live webinar.

Select Interactions from the left side panel to access the Interactions tab.

The Interactions section consists of the following tabs:

Polls

The poll tab displays poll questions and the distribution of participant responses. The visualization for every poll question displays the following information:

  • Type of poll question
  • Multiple choice, multiple answer, or short answer type question
  • The poll question
  • Number of responses
  • Duration for which the poll was open and accepting responses
  • The distribution of responses across various options

Select Poll report (CSV) to download the poll responses.

Quiz

The quiz tab displays the analysis of quizzes held during the webinar. The visualization for every quiz displays the following information:

  • Total participants who participated in the quiz
  • Number of participants who submitted the responses to the quiz
  • The number of questions in the quiz. Select View list to view the questions.
  • An average accuracy of responses received. Select View leaderboard to view the accuracy and results.
  • Average time taken to attempt the quiz

Select Quiz report (.ZIP) to download the quiz report that includes questions, leaderboard, and total time taken. Select View detailed report to view the same report without downloading.

Other interactions

The tab allows you to view metrics of Q&A, file downloads, and reactions during a live session. The tab contains the following panels:

Select Download interaction reports from the top-right dropdown to download reports of different pods. Download the QnA report, Links & files report, and Reactions report from here for better tracking.

The engagement information across pods is available in different sections.

View the following attributes of the Q & A pod:

  • Total questions asked.
  • The number of unanswered questions.
  • The number of attendees who asked questions. 
  • The number of attendees who asked more than 1 question are likely to be top prospects.
  • Average time taken to answer a question.
QnA metrics
View metrics of Q & A pod

View attendees' reactions during the session, such as their agreeing, disagreeing, applauding, or laughing.

View the following details on the graph:

  • Total reactions
  • Number of attendees who reacted at least once 
  • Total clicks
  • Unique attendees
  • Trend of clicks on reactions based on total clicks concerning unique attendees.

View links added to the weblinks pod during the session and the number of clicks on the shared link. Weblinks pod allows you to add links from sources outside the event to generate engagement.

View the following details on the graph:

  • Links that are added to the weblinks pod.
  • Number of attendees who clicked at least one link.
  • Number of links launched by the host.
  • Trend of unique clicks on each link added to the weblinks pod.

View the files downloaded from the files pod during the session and the number of unique downloads.

View the following details on the graph:

  • Name of files that are added to the files pod.
  • Number of attendees that downloaded at least one file.
  • Trend of unique downloads on each file added to the weblinks pod.

On-demand

This interface provides an overview of the On-demand session. You can view performance metrics, views over time, and the duration of the session. It helps you track participant engagement in the on-demand session.

Select On-demand report (CSV) to download the summarized report of the on-demand session.

View the number of registrations, unique viewers, highly engaged attendees, and average watch duration of the webinar.

  • Registrations: Number of registrations for on-demand session.
  • Unique viewers till date: Number of unique viewers of the on-demand session till date.
  • Viewers who also attended live: The number of users who have attended a live webinar and are also viewing an on-demand session. These attendees are likely to be highly engaged. Select the Download list to download the details of these attendees.
  • Viewers that did not attend the live webinar: Number of viewers that didn't attend the live webinar but attended the on-demand session.
  • Average watch duration in minutes: The average watch duration of the on-demand session in minutes.

View the graph of views concerning viewers. You can view the trend of views for different dates.

View the watch duration trend concerning viewers to minutes. Each bar represents the number of attendees based on the duration they viewed the on-demand session.

Participant activity

This section lets you view consolidated information about each participant's engagement. 

The table consists of the following:

  • Engagement level of each participant. You can also sort them from high to low or vice versa. Learn about engagement level classification from Participant engagement level
  • Duration of the session attended by the participant.
  • Number of polls answered.
  • Number of polls answered.
  • Number of links clicked.
  • Number of questions asked in Q&A pod.

Download reports

Download reports for different activities and pods from a centralized hub.

  1. From the left panel, select Download reports.

  2. Select Download all (.zip) to download all the available reports. All the available reports are downloaded as a single compressed zip file

Participant engagement level

The Event Analytics dashboard consolidates various participant interactions in Adobe Connect into a single engagement-level classification. Based on their interactions during the webinar, participants are categorized into high, medium, or low engagement levels. This gives users a unified metric to score leads and identify top prospects. 

Understand the criterion for classifying the engagement level for each participant:

High

Participants who fulfill all the below criteria:

  • The duration of attendance is at least 80% of the total event time.
  • All multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and multiple-answer (MA) polls are answered, at least one file is downloaded, or the number of chats posted is five or more.
  • The attendee has asked at least one question in the Q&A pod.

Medium

Participants who fulfill all the below criteria:

  • The attendee's engagement level isn't determined to be high.
  • The duration of attendance is at least 60% of the total event time.
  • At least one of the following actions has been performed by the attendee:
    • Answered at least one poll.
    • Asked at least one question in the Q&A pod.
    • Downloaded at least one file.
    • Clicked (but not launched) at least one web link.
    • Posted three or more chats.

Low

All participants who are not classified as either high or medium.

On-demand

The dashboard summarizes the session recording's performance, highlighting key metrics and views over time. It helps in evaluating the participant's engagement in on-demand sessions.

Select On-demand report (CSV) to download the performance summary of the on-demand session.
