This release brings new capability in Dimension to export UVs of your model as images, other enhancements, and fixed customer-reported issues.

UV Export

To compliment existing material and decal features in Dimension, you can now export a 3D model's UVs in PSD format. UVs are a representation of a 3D model flattened into 2D space, making it easy to design graphics in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Enhancements

  • CC Libraries: You can now access and use Team Libraries.

  • Drag to Import: Dragging .dn files into Dimension will now open the document.

End of Cloud Rendering (Beta)

The public Cloud Rendering (Beta) will end on December 7, 2020. Thank you for all who participated in using the beta during this time and for the exceptional feedback provided to the team!  We are continuing to develop our rendering solutions including in-app, cloud, and automation offerings and you can expect more rendering news in future releases.
