Add different sound effects to a video or image in a few simple steps.

  1. Open the design in the Adobe Express editor.

  2. In the left panel, select Media > Audio.

  3. Select any sound under Sound Effects.

  4. On the left side of the editor, drag the slider to adjust the Volume.

    On the left side of the editor, drag the volume slider from 0 to 100 to adjust the volume.
    Adjust the volume scale between 0 and 100.

  5. Adjust the duration and timing. 

    • Duration: In the timeline at the bottom of the canvas, use the toggles on either side of the sound effect bar to shorten or lengthen the duration.
    • Timing: Drag the sound effect bar to the desired position on the timeline to choose where it appears in your design.
    The video timeline is open with different added sound effects appearing in place of the Add audio section below the video.

  6. Select  Download > File format > MP4 to download the design with the added sound effects.

    Note:

    Any design, including PDF, PNG, or JPG, with added sound effects, will be exported as an MP4.
